Ninja (real name: Richard Tyler Blevins; also known as NinjasHyper) became known worldwide in 2018 due to the hype around Fortnite. He manages to generate multiple millions in income from streaming. Thereby, his earnings are mainly created on the streaming platform Twitch and his videos on YouTube. Ninja’s estimated net worth is 25 million dollars.

In 2019, Ninja left Twitch for a lucrative deal with Microsoft’s Mixer, which reportedly earned him up to $30 million. However, Mixer shut down again in the summer of 2020 and the streamer signed an exclusive multi-year deal with Amazon’s Twitch. He has more than 15.5 million followers on the platform.

Fame with Fortnite

E-sports was a niche topic until a few years ago. Particularly trendy was Counter Strike or Dota 2, whose game broadcasts could be found on the Internet. However, before he could turn his hobby into a profession, he worked part-time in a restaurant and attended Silver Lake College.

Ninja first appeared in the public eye in 2009 with the game Halo 3, playing for several teams, including Luminosity Gaming. He started as a livestreamer in 2011, at that time with the game H1Z1. In June 2020 came the surprise exit of Mixer and the streamer would be contractually unbound again.
